Hi. I have two boars who get on pretty well. They are about 1 yrs old and live in a 4x2 C&C cage with an upstairs section. Under the loft bit, I have two igloos for the boys. One boy, Fred, always sleeps in his igloo but the other, George, always sits outside Fred's door. I don't know if George just wants to be near Fred or if he sits outside to stop Fred coming out. Sometimes there is some grumbling but generally things are peaceful and they just stare at each other. I just wondered why George never seems to be inside his igloo. I have never figured out who is the dominant male...
Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks

George may just be desperate to snuggle up with Fred overnight. My Nye often sleeps at one or the other end of Nosgan's tunnel even though he has his own. Perhaps you want to create a more open sleeping affair to see whether that is at the bottom of your observation?
