Hi all!
It's been a long time since I was here, busy busy.
Currently, we are getting an extension to my kitchen, which is very noisy and happens to be right beside my guinea pig hutch.:no:
Well, I am worried about my three boys being terrified..to death, just normal owner worries, you know?
I can't really bring them inside, as the last time I did we almost lost Donal, as he managed to jump out, and they start barbering and fighting when inside.
Does anyone know anything to keep them calm?
Our neighbours got an extension one time, they seemed to be okay, but now that its even closer I'm worried, because they were even a little freaked out by a leafblower 2 days ago, and started digging frantically and putting their paws on the wall to see if they could get out, luckily I managed to calm them down, but I can't get in the building way now.
Any tips?, I'm in a nasty situation here.

Any chance of moving the hutch? Even a little bit away from the work?
I would give them lots of hay, somewhere to huddle in and hide if they get scared.
Not sure what else you could do though.

Hey stranger, nice to see you back.
I would defo recommend moving the hutch I imagine that would freak them out quite a bit or have a temporary space for them away a bit from the noise. Or board them perhaps for the duration?
