building a run?

Thinking of trying to build my own run like an old one i used to have? especially as it's so much cheaper and can make one double the size for half the pet shop price! anyone got any advice on hows best or what wood to use? put have a made am clueless ")

I want to build a huge run I have decided now as they are soooo expensive. what wood do you use and what mesh? oh and I also want it to fold any ideas about hinges?

we were looking at treated long planks from B & Q but not sure if it's right. and not sure how to make them fold. however we are going to do a hinged top so one half flips onto the other Will hopefully work! wanna try building hutches too, as my last Large storey hutch from pets at home has broken after only 6 months!

I'm going to keep an eye on this thread i want a huge run too that also folds for storage.
