Hi,
I've got a hutch ready, but not getting our pigs just yet. I am planning to have a portable run for the grass in the garden, but planning to build a more permanent one that attaches to that hutch so they can have constant access to grass I'll grow and concrete to wear down nails.
Anyone built their own runs here? Any video tutorials or tips you can share please?
Also, how do you store your hay and other supplies? I was thinking an outside storage box, but would that be dry and rodent free enough?
Thanks in advance for any help :)

Sounds like a lovely plan for them, but be aware that they will destroy their patch of grass quite quickly :)
I can't advise on hay storage as mine is kept in the house. However I think some people here do store theirs away from the house in outhouses of some kind (garage, storage boxes etc) so hopefully you can get some good tips :)

Thanks. My plan is to get 2 small dog beds with holes in the bottom and grow grass in then for the extension, then rotate to make sure there's always some available :)

My piggies are in a garage not straight outdoors - I wonder how I'd manage if they were! - I keep thier pellets in a plastic container, hay in a cupboard, aubiose in a bin and bits and bobs in boxes.
