Building A Mezzanine For The Ladies

Mr A has been very busy today. After bonding Mabel with Holly and Poppy we felt their cage wasn't quite big enough. So Mr A has very kindly built the ladies a mezzanine level. The ramp is only temporary as we ran out of materials, and need to build one with sides to prevent falls (that's why the carrot cottage is positioned next to the ramp.

First up was little Holly - so quick I only caught he coming down again.




Poppy liked the idea. But didn't actually make it to the top.



Next up Mabel and Holly again.




Poppy likes the idea but isn't sure that climbing ramps is for her. Hopefully when we put on the proper ramp she may also enjoy the extra space, too.

What a great set up.
I might try something like this for Ruby and Lucy, who don't seem to get on with a traditional C&C loft.
Maybe they would consider something like this (or maybe Ruby would just try and push Lucy off the edge ).
