well i ordered a 2x2 c and c loft to add to the upper cage, well i was cursing,it needs a stool to reach ,as i am only 5 feet tall. The connectors are difficult to place and ramp has to attach to a bar.well it has taken 2 hours to build.the piggies this morning were running up and down the ramp,so it is worth it to see them popcorning!

I hate lofts - building them, cleaning them, everything.
But Eddi and Oreo love their loft.
They fly up and down the ramp, and have bunk beds at the top (it is only a 2 x 1) and are always popping upstairs to have a sleep.

yes,i can see its going to be difficult, but if they use it thats ok,i call it a hay loft,as i placed disposable bedding with piles of hay, will only need to clean twice aweek !

I'd love to see pictures of your lofts. I'm trying to imagine the bunk beds @Swissgreys
I have a 2x1 loft on my 2x7 cage at the moment but I am considering adding another one at the other end so I thinking about different ways to use it.
Thanks.

Piggies are sleeping now @JCJ but I will get a photo once it is light again in the morning.
Piggie bunk beds are very cute.

OK, here are the photos.

Basically the bunk beds are made by using one grid to make a roof, and then cable tying another grid half way down.
I put cardboard over the grid in the middle and then a lap pad and then a bed. I would have used core x, but we can't get it here, so I improvised.
Hopefully the photos make sense - it's a bit of an awkward angle.
I clipped a blanket over the top of the grids to make it a bit more enclosed, and to stop the pigs kicking poops out of the top and onto unsuspecting people on the sofa!

And incase you were wondering - yes, everyone does want the 'top' bunk, so they often lay up there together!

Oh that is cute! Thank you so much for taking the photos. I love seeing other people's cages and of course their piggies. I think my girls would love some bunk beds.
