They came with a cage and some bedding from their previous owner, but the cage is rather small. We are planning to build them a larger one (complete with a hay loft) within the next week or so. Since they had no where to hide and no ways to entertain themselves, we've been trying to fix that. We got them an "edible tunnel" (I'm not sure how edible it truly is, but they've not been chewing on it) and today I performed surgery on two toy sharks. Deseamed, unstuffed, re-stuffed with piggy bedding, then sewn back up. Though this isn't much, it's the best I can do without cluttering up the small cage. So now I have questions.
What things should I get when they're moved to the nice spacious new cage? I mean to get them a "pigloo" but I'm sure you all have some wonderful ideas I wouldn't think of on my own!
I've also seen guides on here to sewing things like cuddle sacks from fleece, and now that I mean to put that to use, I can't seem to find any! Do any of you happen to know how to sew these, or have the links to the posts that explain it?
