BT are poo!

It's taken them 2 months to sort out our line! I always thought that they were pretty good at getting things done, but no more! But, got it all sorted now. :)

We're in credit with BT so thought that may've made them get off their butts and work quicker! Think they were being pains as we never wanted BT internet! Why pay for a modem when we had one from Tesco free? ;D
 
BT are poo. They've deprived us of our lovely Kelly for a start. >:(

Add Sky+ to the list of poo companies >:(
 
They sure did.

Waiting to have Sky put in today - between 1 and 4 they say! Good job that I'm in!
 
We have sky, that we have found to be brill. BT, poo. Took them two weeks and loads of phone calls for them to finally sort things out our non working phone line. Stupid BT! >:(
 
I was without Sky for 5 months, only had the free to air channels and nothing at all upstairs,

Sky did nothing that fixed the problem, sent an engineer after 4 month, who got the upstairs fixed, they wanted to charge me a call out until I threatened to cancel if they did!

But downstairs still wasn't working, until I cancelled the Direct Debit..........

I had a fuuly working service 5 days later ;D

Money talks, or rather the lack of it ;)
 
Well they put in the Sky, but the way they spoke to us was disgusting! They've also put in way too much cable which goes up and down and also round the door!

The cable is also in the wrong place and I might get it caught on my chair!

Engineer wanted our ladders, use the electric to re charge his drill first and also never cleaned up after! I don't usually complain much, but the service from him was bad!
 
Our Sky guy was really good. Asked us where we wanted the box, did we want extra cable incase we chose to move it at a later date, where we want the cable to come in. He was quite sweet with our lil boy, he put the drill on a quieter/slower setting so's not to frighten him to much. :) I def wouldn't recomend BT to friends though! >:(
 
we were going to have sky + put in once but they messed up that much we cancelled it,or should i say the engineer did because he got here too early >:( it took us 4 months to get our deposit back
 
I am with esat BT here in Ireland and they are worse.
I have been waiting since April this year to have one line into the house cancelled and the other down graded from hi speed to normal.
they have been charging us everymonth since April, last month got over charged €232 so refused to pay got that sorted and paid €131 and then 2 days later they went on and took the original bill as well,
that was 14 days ago and still waiting to be re inbursed, I am sick of them. and we went overdrawn that week because of them

Unfortunally there is only one other company we can use and they are more expensive

It's all silly really, I mean for something we need or want and are willing to pay, they muck us all around!

Sky wont take any complaints over the phone so got to write it all down!
 
Both BT and Sky drive me mad with their customer 'care' dept ::)

BT messed our internet up - then sorted it and it still was not right - in the end it was the router or so BT said, i gave up in the end and paid £125 to get someone out to fix pc and new router!

Our Sky leads outside look a right mess too and they messed up the link thing to my room.

I'm terrible at sorting technical issues - dvd player seems to have jammed or broken - less hassle to get a new £20 one from Asda I'm thinking than trying to fix it ::)
 
Kelly, we had a really rude Sky engineer and I complained and got £20 off my bill. Don't waste your time writing to them. Go through to payments and tell them you're not happy and unless you get some compensation for your hurt feelings ;) and the potential danger he put you in, you're going to cancel the account. See how high they jump then ;D

We got so mucked about by the engineer coming to fix our Sky+ and then spent 2 hours on the phone trying to speak to a human. Steve then phoned the payments line, got straight through, no queue, no annoying music, no detour to India and told them he wanted to cancel the account and told them why. The guy sorted out the engineer coming there and then and knocked off half our bill for the next month! ;D
 
Hopefully going that way now. Mike on phone, cos they get funny when it's not the account holder speaking (the account in my bruv's name, he can't do it).

Control now not working!
 
How are you getting on Kelly? Tell them you're gonna cancel if they won't help
 
Glad the remote is working now.

I wouldn't bother with the letter. Bev will tell you where writing letters to them gets you ::)
