I bought something off ebay a few wheeks ago. I wanted purple. The photo was blue. I emailed the seller and asked what the colour was. He said it was a bad photo and it was purple.

It wasn't. It was blue. I emailed back and said it was not what he had described. He said the photo was accurate. I said, yes, that's why emailed you in the first place.

Anyway, he agreed I could post it back and he would send me a cheque. I posted the parcel on 12th May. Today, when I emailed him, he says it hasn't got there.

But he might be telling the truth. Could be the crap Royal Mail. It's hard knowing what to do. I said to him - OK, let's wait until after the BH and chase it up next wheek.
 
Did you post it so it can be tracked? If so you can find out exactly where it is but I think you have to wait x amount of time first (sorry, not sure how long though). You can always put a dispute in through eBay if it has to go that far, I'd be inclined to believe him short term if his feedback is good though, like you say check after the Bank Hol O0

did you send it registered or special delivery or just regular post? :-\
 
If I were you I'll let ebay know anyway - last year was the last time I used it because I ordered some birthday stuff for my dad - he was 60 so I bought banners and balloons - I'm still waiting for them and he's now 61!

I e-mailed the seller and he said he had sent them and would check with royal mail for me... I should have gone to ebay then, but I didnt.... I kept mailing him and he kept making excuses and in the end he just ignored me, and I'd left it too long to do anything about....

Will never ever make that mistake again...
 
Go to the post office love, ask them if they can track it :(
