Hi guys! Two or three days ago, I noticed a little bit of spotting on Mona’s blanket, but i haven’t been able to figure out what it is. It’s not discolored urine, so the only other thing I can think of that fits is diarrhea, but her poop looks normal and she’s been eating and drinking well. I was just wondering if anyone knew what this might be, cuz I haven’t been able to find anything that fits.

Could she have wee’d on a poo causing it to be soft and trodden in? If she had diarrhoea, you would know and she would be quite poorly. I’d keep an eye on her. If you suspect she has softer poos than normal, please take her off fresh veg for 24-48 hours only feeding hay, pellets and water until the poos firm up again

Yea, she definitely could’ve just peed on it. That’s one of her favorite place to lay down, and that’s the only place it’s showing up, so it wouldn’t really surprise me. I haven’t seen any issues besides that one area, so i’m not too worried about it right now. I’m definitely gonna be keeping a close eye on it tho, just in case. If I notice that her poos are too soft, i’ll try taking her off veggies for a day.

I agree - I would keep an eye on whether this is repeated in case she his a minor gut disturbance. If she has, then taking her off all fresh grass and veggies for 24 - 48 hours is a good idea.
