BROWN BREAD

I would be wary of giving them bread - it has a lot of additives, salt etc - I was amazed when I read the ingredients! Thats just my opinion though ...

I wouldn't give piggies bread as they have a sensitive digestive system, and bread is quiet stodgy. I would just stick with loads of veggies and fruit O0

My thoughts are if they don't eat it in the wild then they don't eat it at all.

Fleur always wheeks for curry doesn't mean I'd give it. :D

I've known people to give bread but don't think it's right really. Just Hay, veggies and dried. :)

Mine have a little piece of dried wholemeal bread as a treat. They all love it. I just leave a slice on the windowsill to dry out then break off small pieces.

I would be very hesitant to offer any kind of bread that has been made using yeast as the guinea pig's gut is not made to process yeast (never mind any of the other additives involved in making bread)

i dont know whether they like it, mine have never had it and i dont think its something i would give them :)

I wouldn't feed it, I stick to vegetables, occasional fruit and HAY O0 The best way to go I feel O0

thats what i thought but i read somewhere that they loved it.

i wouldnt give it to them anyway.

one of the women in my team used to give her guineas bread but then this was the woman who told me that cucumber is bad for a guinea...

i read in a guinea pig book that toast was good for gnawing for there teeth i accasionaly give mine a small piece each it also said cooked potatoes which i havent tried and a milk and bread mixture for pregnant guinea pigs

it could build up in their intestines and cause them constapation n in small animals it usally causes death.
I woudnt give it to them

No to all of the above, especially the milk (guinea pigs are herbivores and can't digest the fats and sugars in cows' milk).

The best thing for a piggy's teeth is unlimited hay.
