Hi everyone, my piggies are 5months old and I have read that they go through a hormonal stage but pickle the larger of my 2 has started teeth chattering and shoving his bum in patch's face, is this all normal behaviour or do I need to seperate them? It's the teeth chattering that is worries me

Yes it sounds are though the hormones are kicking in! Rumbling, bum waggling, chasing all part of the hormonal stage. Mild teeth chattering is OK and typical but I would monitor it - it is warning noise. If they did fall out though the teeth chattering is lot, lot louder. Have you read the Dominance sticky thread

It is good that you are observing them. Have they got 2 bowls and hideys with 2 entrances (so they can get out if chased)?

Yeah I've given them 2 of everything, they are in a pretty big hutch aswel, I will keep an eye on them and hope that it doesn't escalate

Serious teeth chattering sounds a lot like clacking, it's far more frightening & distinctive :( That is usually a prelude to a bite.
