Hello!
My pig, Crank, partially broke his right top tooth today. It's not a crack or a chip, definitely a break, but it's just barely hanging on towards the back. It wiggles when I touch it. I can see that it's a clean break through the root, no blood on him or in his cage, and it's about halfway down his tooth so the original is still in his gums. It isn't Crank's first broken tooth (he has poor risk assessment) but I've never personally dealt with one that's still attached. I'm wondering if I should let it break off on its own or bring him to the vet to have it clipped.
It doesn't seem to be causing him any pain. He's eating, drinking, popcorning, chewing on his cage bars/wood chews, and rumbling at my other pig, and I messed with his tooth without a fuss (other than him being annoyed by a finger in his mouth).
Thank you in advance!
