Broccoli

Hi guys merry Christmas to you all
For Christmas I have brought us some broccoli green beans
I gave the piggies green beans and they love them I want to try them with broccoli
It's the old fashioned kind if you know what I mean what can the piggies eat from that

My piggies love the florets and the stems! Don’t give them too much as I think it can cause bloating.

I’m not sure if the leaves are safe or not, but the rest is!

The florets, leaves and stalks are all safe to eat. It is a firm favourite with my piggies but as is high in calcium should not be fed too often. I usually feed it once a week

My piggies have had broccoli for their Christmas dinner along with carrots and Brussels sprouts. They hardly every have these veggies as they’re high in sugar (carrots) and are gassy but it is a Christmas after all

Mine love a broccoli floret occasionally.
They would probably like it much more often than they get it.
Green beans are also a favourite. Micah practically inhales them.
