Bringing Inside

I've literally had my guinea pigs 2 weeks (they are 10 weeks) they are currently outside in the shed but I've seen the c&c cages and now thinking of bringing them in. I'm just worried that they will smell? I have a hamster and he stinks!
I'm using fleece and cleaning up 2-4 times a day as it is. They will be in my living room as that the only suitable place for them
Also what would I use under the fleece to stop anything soaking through to the carpet.

Our piggies are in the lounge too I'm using puppy pads with a towel on top and then fleece until my proper fleece liners arrive! I've not smelt them at all...all I can smell is hay!

I have 6 indoors and the only smell is the hay.

My girls are indoors and only smell on full clean day which is every Saturday.

If I stick my face by the fleece there's a whiffbut on wash day, like @VickieD it starts to smell.

If you clean them out regularly then there will be no smell.
