Hi i am wanting to bring my piggies inside for the winter the only place i can put them is in my living room i cant use a cage with bars as i also have 2 cats... any suggestions to what i could use instead also it must be big enough for 2 boars l. Thanks in advance

I was thinking about one of those large plastic storage containers that have lids do u think that would be ok?

That was my only concern going to have to look into a c and c unless i can think of something else

I love c and c cages. You can make them nice and big to give piggies lots of space. Mine is 8 by 3.

See i have another problem i only live in a small terrace house so i font have alot of room but i really dont want to leave my boys outside over winter as it is really cold at night already and we only in october to be fair tho my boys have a 2 tier hutch but they will only use the top part and they get plenty of floor time so it would only really be for sleeping in x

I live in a tiny studio flat so I share your concerns about space. I had to get rid of furniture to fit in my cage.

God i might have to get rid of my husband at this rate hehehe just been looking at indoor cages think i could be able to fit a 150cm length

Thanks so much time to start shopping around i want them inside before the end of the month

how about a cage or C&C with roof & add an extra layer of mesh or chicken wire to the sides for extra protection that can be reached by the cats? You can buy sheets of galvanized wire mesh with 25mm squares that would make it look tidy & be practical too.
Chicken wire size mesh may look a bit untidy for indoors

not sure why but the picture on the first link shows the chicken wire hexagonal type, but its the square mesh as shown in the second link.

Toolstation also do free delivery for over £10 purchases (cable ties could be purchased from here too if needed ;) )

Blimey i've been so slow responding, you have had a major conversation since i started to reply!

My piggies are all indoors in c&cs but i have in the past used my folding run with as temporary accomodation - with correx in the base it won't fold in, it had the advantage of being delivered ready for use & already having a hinged lid + of course it can be used outdoors and folds flat for storage - a lot of different sizes available on ebay and sold in pet stores- this is an example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Canterbur...et_Supplies_Small_Animals&hash=item1c46e8a715

Lol @ GPTV I'm slow at typing and usually by the time i do my post someone has already suggested the same thing ahead of me!
