Just wanted to let you all know, since Phoebe's recovery from her bloat/gut stasis a few months ago, she is still prone to bloating occasionally. So, the latest round of drugs (emeprid and metacam) has produced a very happy and confident piggy at medicating time (she loves the metacam!). I always dose with the emeprid first so we can end with the tasty one. She's got so used to this order of things, I can now dose her through the bars of the cage! She really makes me laugh - she grabs hold of the end of the syringe and won't let go! Such an improvement from the early days of medicating :)

Great that she is so good, my Millie is the same, comes trotting over and waits for her heart meds (there are a few on them so she has to wait her turn). Glad that the Emeprid and Metacam is helping too.

Isn't it lovely when they come to you for it? My Matthew is the same and now Romano gets jealous and I have a three way tug of war between me, Matthew and Romano all trying to get the syringe.

Lovely that the meds are working for her. And how wonderful that she's taken to the syringe so well - makes things so much easier on you and her.

Poppy tries to get at the syringe too - they do make me laugh! Bless them both :)
