Bricks

I've noticed some people have bricks in their cages.. what are they for? Are they just to hold down the fleece? :-\

Anyway, I made dad take me to Wickes (we were basically next door anyway though) and we bought 2 bricks, spent 50p altogether ;D Got some dodgy looks, LOL.

One of mine, Trixie, has a couple of bricks in her run simply because she loves to stand on it. I have no idea why but she is always sat up on her bricks. I think it is just a way of adding some variety and different textures to their homes.

to hop onto, to naturally keep their claws short, in summer they are nice and cool, if you get the ones with little pattern and holes in, then you can also hide food in them, you can make steps out of them so they can hop out of the cage easier or acces other levels of the cage, you can do loads of things with bricks

If you rub a damp cloth over a brick in the summer the piggy will go on it to cool down
