Morning. My guinea pig Liam in the morning sounds like he's smoked a cigar. He has a deep voice and I sprayed some Vitamin C on his food. I made sure the fan isnt on to make him cold. Not sure what this is. My daughter says sometimes they can get hay caught. He eats normally and drinks water well. Is this a cold? Does he need a humidifier?

It’s always best to have breathing issues checked by a vet.
Guinea pigs don’t get colds, they get bacterial infections.
Hay and bedding dust can get in their airways and cause audible breathing but medical issues need to be looked into before environmental.
You don’t need to spray vitamin c or supplement vit c in any way to a healthy piggy on a good diet as they should be getting all they need.

As per my reply on your other post on the same subject, please have him checked by a vet for any concerns before looking to anything potentially environmental.
A vitamin c spray or supplement, as I mentioned, is not necessary to a piggy with a good diet (and supplementing vitamin c above and beyond the normal hay based diet can cause it’s own problems) nor will it help cure any potential medical issue
