Hi. My big boy Loki is well … Loki by name Loki by nature! He’s an escape artist avc I’m having to double height the c&c!

Following advice on here I separated Loki and Teddy from our two young boys by extending and dividing cage. Thing is Loki and one of the young ones seem determined to get at each other. Tonight whilst the young two - TJ and Jerry - were having floor time Loki got out and I only noticed a while later! They seemed to be fine though.

Can keeping boys side by side cause arguments in the pairs? Loki and his bro seem to be squabbling a bit more. I’m just thinking is this set up going to be ok or do I need more space between them. Thoughts? X

Keeping two separate boar pairs side by side is fine provided all piggies are fine with it. Being two grids high as you have suggested will help stop escapes over the top. (The alternative for pairs who can't live next to each other is to stack the cages and put one pair at the bottom and one at the top)

I would also consider building a lid for the cage if Loki seems to be able to escape!

The cages are slowly getting bigger … 🤣
