So, before I leave today, I decided they should have as much hay as possible. Unfortunately I couldn't get photos of Comet burying himself in it before I could get it spread out...

And Blitzen's new hairdo. Man he's going to be miffed when I can finally deal with that and his butt matt. What I thought was a coldsore or impetigo on my nose is apparently neither of those things, so I definitely need to wait and see what the problem is before handling.

Handsome dudes!

Hope all goes well, you'll be back before you know it

Oh just a thought, maybe get some disposable vinyl gloves that way you can trim the butt fur without worrying about passing anything on. We always have a box around, it is useful when pigs have fungal infections to minimize transmission

Thank you! Also I have no idea what Blitzen has in his fur there, there was nothing there when I looked afterwards. That's the perils of hay showers I guess.

As for the gloves, I haven't been able to find any, I'm probably going to have to go online. It's looking like a bacterial infection anyway, with a bit of luck I'll know by Thursday.
