Boys having a little rukus

Hi, here I am again ! I feel so silly posting questions for the second time in 2 days but I'm new !

My boys are having a little rukus, I thought they were fighting but its light humping( Both boys) and scrapping abit but nothing too much but they only seem to do it after theyve had an exciting run about in their run.

For the past 2 days everytime I've put them out in the run (they gleefully squeak and popcorn) when I put them back in the hutch they have a mad half hour together ! Isit possible guinea pigs play fight whilst excited ?
I feel its nothing serious as neither of my boys are scared of one another they both go back for more equally as eachother, chasing each other around, none of them are worried about the other they both chase eachother two and thro.

Do guinea pigs play around if their excited ? Lots of squeaking and chasing ?

It’s likely dominance caused by the change in location. My dominant piggy often reasserts himself when they go back into the shed after a day on the lawn.

Bill and Ted used to sometimes have a hump fest, usually Bill humping Ted when they returned to their cage. It was all in good spirit with a bit of chasing and rumbling thrown in, it’s a change in location that brings out the dominance displays
