So I have two males. One is 3 and a half and the other is 2 and a half. The older one keeps rumbling at the other one. As soon as the younger one hears him rumbling he just goes for his face and I've noticed the older one has a cut lip, I'm guessing because the other has bitten him.
Do you think it could just be a phase or will i need to separate?
When we are all home and in the garden they have the run of the garden and even then they sometimes still fight even with all that space!
Any advice would be great thanks

Rumbling is a completely mild dominance behaviour. Its nothing to worry about and is not a reason to separate them.

Spring time can cause boars to become a bit more dominant. I’m noticing it with my own two boars at the moment - more rumbling and mounting than normal but there is absolutely no issue between them and it’ll calm down in its own time.

However you say they are fighting - it’s incredibly important to understand the exact behaviour you are seeing because what can look to us as problematic behaviour is entirely normal to them.

Thankyou for replying. I had a read through those attachments and it does seem like they are just boys being boys!
