Tinypixi
Junior Guinea Pig
Hi Guys.... sorry i don't post on here often.... but i do lurk! ..... I'm after some advice if that's ok.......
My boys Seth and Reuben are having some difficulty that's just become an issue in the last 48 hours..... Seth is about 2 and a half years old reuben is about 14 months...... They've been together since reuben was tiny. They've never been close pigs....not best mates but that's ok... but the yesterday morning my hubby went to give them brekkie and he said Seth was being odd....really loud teeth chattering at reuben and my hubby..... i decided to check him over to make sure he was ok..... silly me put my fingers in the mouth of a teeth chattering pig! Ouch.... totally my fault!.... ... Anyways think we freaked them both out by interfering so left them to it for a while.... later on some food had been eaten so offered them their fave parsley and Seth took ages to eat his then ran off....very unlike him.... Rang vets ...off we went for a check....All is fine...no teeth problems nothing at all obvious!.... Took Seth home popped him back with Reuben which then started lots of Teeth chattering again,Seth was raising his back legs really high and he obviousley wasn't happy..... an hour later he still hadn't eaten anything and was hiding in the bedroom.
We decided to bring him into the indoor run overnight....but he didn't touch his greens at all....not like him.
We've just had him out for a cuddle and coaxed some parsley down him..... but now he's just gone back into hiding again....... is it just stress causing this?..... Any ideas welcome
Cheers
