Hi guys (I realise haven't been on here in ages! How are you all? I'm sorry for being so unactive- the website looks so different now.)

Anyway, due to the heat I put an ice pack in the boys cage as I always do. And as I always do, I wrapped it up in something (in this case an old towel.) I usually wrap it in a t-towel but it's also been wrapped in a flannel etc before.

I returned home today to find the towel in a rather bedraggled state with all strands hanging off. I believe the main culprit is Steve whom actually had the towel in his mouth when I saw it.

I've checked both of their mouths to check hey don't have any material stuck and both are acting normal. I know that piggies usually are fine after eating things they shouldn't- like plastic bags grrrrrrr

But should I be overly worried with this? I feel so stupid and yet they've never done this before. Let's just say they won't be having it wrapped in a towel again!!

Take a deep breath and don't worry.

Lovely to see you back, you and your boys have been missed. They do like to chew everything and worry us don't they. I put an ice pack in an old sock today and caught Spike trying to eat it!

I really wouldn’t worry. Mine have been tending to the tea towels around their frozen water bottles and none looks any the worse.

It's good to be back! I've missed talking to my fellow piggie lovers and chatting about my two hooligans. I'm sure I've missed alot lol- how are your piggies? Steve is 1 now if you can believe it.

My piggies are well, I'm up to 6 now, definately my limit! It is hard to believe Steve is one, only seems like yesterday when you got him. We worked out tonight Rusty is only 10 months, it feels like he's always been here with Bracken but of course we had the gorgeous Willow with him first. Bracken and Rusty are having a few dominance issues at the moment, Rusty has hit a difficult stage and now he is as big as Bracken he is making a bid for top spot, hopefully they will settle again soon.
