So since having my lovely two new additions (girls) my boys are now back outside. It's on the deck, the wind blows in the other direction and it's against a wall so cold really isn't an issue for me at the moment. Since one of my girls is very little and pregnant female they are cosy inside.

My issue however is play time. Obviously now the boys have picked up on the scent of the girls and stand by their cage annoying them (and doing the strangest bum wiggle/dance, does anyone else's do this or are mine weirdos?)

I love having my boys inside for at least an hour a day to get them enough exercise. Is this wrong for them to hassle the girls every so often or do I just have to cut out play time :(?

Can the boys play in another room or the girls be moved while the boys play? The may fight due to smelling the girls.

I would be very careful about your boys smelling the girls - ive recently had to split 2 of my boys up (father and son) who'd been living together happily for over 2yrs - i suspect the scent of my 5 girls and neutered boy in their cages above set them off and they've had to be separated permanently - 3 vets visits and £160 later has seen me have to re-arrange my whole cage setup so i can accommodate another cage for my lone boys.....

I would reconsider bringing your boys in, the smell of your girls in season will drive your boys wild this in turn may cause fights if they get over excited at the prospect of meeting a female :...

I actually find it rather saddening to watch a distressed (and very horny) boar trying to get at a nearby female.. i would remove temptation - it's simply not fair on your boys..

I decided to put the C&C cage on a second level and it's big improvement. If I see any fighting whatsover then I will just have to have them on my bed or something. :)
