Got the property! 2.4 acres, chickens, a well… it’s awesome! We’ve been moved in for nearly three weeks now. The unpacking has been slow, but we’re almost there. Some predator found its way onto the property and killed two of our chickens so now I’m in the process of building a new chicken run and fortifying the dilapidated fences the previous owner left. Custom guinea pig cage will follow at some point but for now got to get the chickens and property defended and build structures to house my motorcycles, tools and yard implements.

Congratulations on your new home. We’ve been in ours over 20 years and still have a couple of unpacked boxes and pictures not yet hung. I’m waiting for our next house move 😂 Sorry about the chickens 😢

When we first moved to the country we had an Ayrshire steer. We thought our fence was secure until one day we got a call from the neighbour that Harrison was at his house visiting. I went and brought him home. Harrison was a gift for me at 2 month’s old for Mother’s Day that year.💖
