Now we have 3 piggies I thought I had best buy a backup cage incase any of them get sick and we need to quarantine one. I found this cage and thought it was a bargain, although I have to admit I didn't realise how big it was until I had already ordered it and now don't know where I'm going to store it!

I got emailed a code for £3 off as well plus you get 5% cashback if you go through quidco and you also get ipoints so I thought it was too good an offer to pass up on!

:)) I love zooplus. They are very good prices for cages and delivery is usually very fast and efficient.

But beware now you have a backup cage you will end up with more pigs. I bought a back-up cage when i had my first 2 piggies... i now have 4 of my own piggies and 2 foster guinea pigs :))

Haha well I'm kind of thinking about fostering so thought that it would come in handy for that if I decide to do it rolleyes ( just don't tell the boyfriend! )

And I'm already thinking of rehoming another 2!

It is true with more cages come more pigs, there are so many lovely ones out there to choose from!

He he!
If you have the opportunity, time and space fostering is fantastic. I would definately recommend it. Its one of the most amazing things i have ever done. I thoroughly enjoy it, its lovely to see them grow up if they are babes when they come in or just to see their personalities develop as they get used to people and being handled. Of course watching them leave can be a little hard, its difficult to not get attached but i think if you have your own piggies its softens the blow a little. The empty cage doesnt look quite so bad when 4 piggies are squeaking for their dinner to distract you on the other side of the room :))

Well like I said it's something I'm considering at the moment but might not be until later on in the year as we're on holiday for 2 weeks in June. My sister is house sitting for us so will watch our piggies but I can't and wouldn't expect her to watch any foster piggies as well.

Haha yeah it does! ( Was I the only one who whilst scrolling to check this made them have a conversation though.... )

I went to my parents last night and Steven told my mam how I had bought a spare cage. She said rather than be the crazy cat lady I'm going to end up being the crazy guinea pig lady! She also said I bet you end up with some kind of guinea pig sanctuary lol and here was me thinking I was being discreet about my intentions, apparently everyone could see straight through me!
