my boys were officialy 6 weeks old on wednesday and jacob (brown spiky aby) has started bottom wiggling and making a grumbling kind of noise (lots and lots today) and on a couple of occasions has tried to mount poor Edward. Luckily Edward doesnt seem too phased by him and just makes one small sneezy sound and he stops and leaves him alone.

theyve been out in their indoor playpen all day so have had loads of room, they still seem to be okay with sharing food, bed, toys etc infact if i have 1 for cuddles they make high pitched wheeking until back together.

ive read the other threads and was expecting this with my 2 boys but is he not a bit young to be doing this? i thought it would be when they were troublesome teenagers? surely theyre not ready for teenage hormones already?!

should i be worried? popcorning still goes on but not as much as previous days

I don't think it's anything to worry about at the moment. I think boar instincts kick in pretty early (have heard about baby boars rumbling at or trying to mount mum from as early as 2 weeks). They'll also be trying to sort out dominance issues.
As long as they're both eating ok and able to get away from each other things should be ok for now.

Have you had a chance to look at this thread? Might be useful.
