A while ago I bought a block of second hand hutches, and on them were these springs to hold the water bottles in place. They're great, but for ages I couldn't find where to buy new ones until someone posted a link on here, so here it is:

£1.40 each but last forever and no more fiddling around with those white bits of wire you get with the bottles! The bane of my life. And they fit any size. Might just be because I've got so many piggies, but it's sad to say these really do improve my day to day life!

PS and of course the money goes to a good cause at Thistle Cavies

I think I've seen those in the hardware store, be worth to check out. I'll have a look next time I'm out, great find! :)

I buy these from thistle cavies aswel. There sooo great! I need some more now. If you have a few piggies they save you so much time. The white wires that come with the bottles are useless and are so fidderly.
I agree Sophie they defiently make life easier

I got mine from there about 2 years ago and they are still perfect plus, as you say, helps Thistle Cavies rescue too ;)

Yep I use these too - have done for about 2 and a half years and still in fab condition!

I tend to leave them on the cage. Makes it so much easier

I'm confused - the bottles always stay on the cage? Or do you mean something else? Just curious because if I love things that make life easier :))

I hate those bits of wire too & at the time the springs were like gold-dust so i made my own out of curtain wire & hooks :)

Ive got bottle springs wonderful things as bottles use to fall off all the time before!

Must order more for the runs now.
