Hiya I have a male guinea pig who seem to stop his mate from going into the run ,the only way he gets out is if we force him out but even then he get chase back into the hutch ,Is there anyidea to what we can do to sort this out without having to get rid of one(dont want this to happen),we have thought locking them both out inthe run may do the trick but we didnt because we thought bandit would get hurt trying to get away from chestnut.

Does Chestnut rumble at Bandit?
Why not buy another cage and put the other one in?

Yes chestnut does rumble at bandit But when they are inthe hutch togather they dont fight its when they are aload to go out.

Do you have any other animals which go in the hutch at other times? I'd try them together in a nice clean run so it smells neutral to both.
How long have you had them?
How old are they.
