We had an 8yr old Bonsai for christmas and we are determined to let it see to 9! ;)

Anyway, we're not the best at looking after plants for some reason, but this time we are, water it every couple of days and make sure it doesn't get too dry!

But... The leaves are falling off and the branches look immensely dry. What are we doing wrong? Should it be in the window? In sun/out the sun?

Could it be dry heat getting to it?

I love Bonsai's and honestly don't want this to die.. please help... green fingers needed! ;)

Hi Kelly
I gave one to a neighbour and have baby sat it many times.
You're doing well with the watering i'd say but make sure it doesn't get too warm, i always have it in a sheltered position mainly indoors. It goes out for a few days a week only, that's what i was advised when i bought it for Lee's birthday pressie 3-4 years ago.
I'm sure there will be a website where you can get an expert to advise you, hope it keeps going for you, they're amazing aren't they, what tree is yours?
