Bonding With My Girls

Hay guys. How do i get my girls to eat from me and how do i know they like me? Sorry it seems a silly question. I've never had a guinea pig before so I'm new still. Anyway I have 2 girls from a rescue. I've had them for almost 3 they will sit with me ony lap well one does the other goes to my shoulder but when i try and offer them food they don't take it. How can i get them to do it

You may find the tips in these threads here helpful. Please be patient and persist. It can sometimes take a while for guinea pigs to pick up their courage.
