You have to take it at their pace, offer food from your hand first. If they take it then they are starting to trust you but for some that is as far as it goes, Most piggies don’t like being picked up and many won’t like being cuddled. All you can do is follow their lead and only do what they are comfortable with.
Mine have been with me for three years and they don’t like being handled at all. therefore handling is For their weekly health and weight checks. They would rather I sit in their shed with them and theyll come and get snacks from me, and put their feet on my legs but they don’t like being touched and I respect that. They are much happier to be with each other than they are to be held by me
