Junior Guinea Pig

Hi! Today 6-month-old S'mores and 2-year-old Midnight (both females) met. They had no reaction to each other and totally ignored one another. We put them in the middle of the floor in a room that neither has ever been to and let them loose. They pretended the other wasn't there. No butt sniffing, no noises, no nothing. Does this mean they don't like each other? Or do they just not like other guinea pigs?

I would give them some more time in cages/runs that are adjacent, so they can get used to each other. It can just be that they are not interested in each other, but it may also be that they were afraid of the new surroundings. If you can, serve food and hay by the dividing side.
