Hi!

With guinea pigs is not so much a matter of persisting but of finding "Mr/Mrs Right". The key to every bond is character compatibility and mutual liking, especially with boars. If that is not there, you can't create it.
The other issue is that once you commit to a bonding with boars, you have to see it through to its conclusion, whether that is a positive or a negative one. Otherwise, you have to start right back in square again as far as the bonding protocol is concerned. You can imagine how frustrating that it for the piggies! The one thing you can't do is lots of little meetings where they never get to work through all the vital small print of the bonding protocol.

Please carefully read through our bonding tips before you start:
Introducing And Re-introducing Guinea Pigs
Illustrated Bonding Behaviours And Dynamics
Dominance Behaviours In Guinea Pigs
Boars: A guide to successful companionship.

I hope that all goes well for you, but please have a plan B at the ready if it doesn't!

thank you i already have a plan if it doesnt work and one of them starts fighting

If it doesn't work, you could always consider having Twiggy neutered so he could live with your girls after 6 weeks' wait until he 100% safe to go with girls. We have several good vets in our area, but sadly no good rescues that offer boar-boar dating in our region.
