Am having so much trouble at the moment with my boars its driving me crazy@)
They all feel out about a year ago when one of my boars sadly pasts away, Since then iv had troulbe with one of my other boars and as i see they both want to be top boss.
They have now been seperated for about 6months iv tried to rebond them but it just dont seem to work, there is constant humping and teeth chattering from both ( When is enough ).
I was thinking about doing a bonding bath so they all have a new scent has anyone else got any ideas as i hate the fact there all not together.

Sorry for the long post..

Sorry the boys are driving you round the bend - when two of my boys fell out last year it was very worrying.
Where have you tried to rebond them? ie play pen or run or bath? Do they go straight into 'fight mode'? When they are in their separate hutches, can they see one another? Do they chat then or stay away?

Sorry for questions, just may help people to see if there is hope for rebonding.

Iv tried rebonding them in a play pen and just normal floor space, they get along for about 20 minutes then one of them just starts humping and it send the others crazy, They see each other everyday as there side by side there normaly quite chatty.

Am thinking of trying a bonding bath.

Sadly, some piggies just do not like each other :(
If they have fallen out to the extent they have been separated and rebonding has failed, I would seriously consider it is not going to work.
Would you have space for more piggies ? You could consider boar dating at a rescue so they chose their own friend each or neuter (as a last resort) and find them a wifepig each :)
Keep us posted and hope the boys may fall in love again with each other...I know how upsetting it is when piggies fall out :(

Hopefully a bonding bath has worked, they seemed to have enjoyed there bath all together and seemed to be more relaxed around each other :)

Fingers firmly crossed - boar bonding can take up to two weeks with fall outs possible at any time.

I hope that your boys will make it.
