A bit of a weird one. I've never encountered this before in my boar journey. My 2 boars Bumble and Garfield have been bonded since 6th November. Recently they've started (usually Garfield starts it) trying to mount each other and rumbling, running about then lightly chattering at each other then Bumble usually tells off Garfield and Garfield runs away. Now the weird bit! My husband seems to think they only do it when I'm in the room and they're showing off to me/playing me up . I've got a piggie cam and can watch them when I'm not there and I actually think he may be right  . They do seem happy together though and lots of popcorning happens. (Bumble stopped popcorning after Chip passed away but has started again) Garfield also popcorns a lot especially when I talk to him. Here are the 2 little rascals each in their own carrot cottage. Fuzz teeth chatters at me when I walk in the room, Fizz seems to think he's chattering at him and he starts at Fuzz resulting in chin pushing, and a mild squabble, they then back down and do a zoomie popcorn fest.

Probably just showing off so you know how cute they are 😁
Probably. They were doing it again tonight. :bronco:they were making squeaking noises at each other and Garfield looked at Bumble and then Bumble made a high pitched "beewww" noise and did a massive popcorn to which Garfield popcorned back. The 2 of them then ran off and dived into the hay.

I had two boars, Snowy and Hughie, who hammed it up when I was around! I inadvertently encouraged this behaviour. Within 3-4 days of being born, they were mounting their mother and I had to remove them when they were about 2 weeks old, tho they still used to scream for her, wanting the milk bar. Anyway that was back when they said to separate sons at 3 weeks, rather than at a given weight. I used to tell them fairly early on that they were such sexy boys and I guess they realised my tone of voice was not condemning them! So that was encouragement enough. They were really sweet. When they were 'teenaged', they compared with each other etc etc. Boys will be boys...
