Two of my boars, Reggie and Horace, have been living togther for a couple of months now. The thing is they seem to be falling out. Horace has started facing up to Reggie and chattering at him then flying away from him. The other night I had Horace out for a cuddle and when I put him back I placed him under a pile of hay. As I was 'tucking him in' :) :) Reggie flew up from the ther side of the cage and bit me! He broke the skin and everything! I was totally shocked! Could they be stressed out living together and needing parted? On the other hand I went up to see them not that long ago and they were eating out the same dish ? ? What's going on? Have any of you had successful bonding's that have lasted the piggies life time or is it only a matter of time before a divider has to be out up? Help! Dont know who's more stressed, me or the piggies!

How old are the boys, and how big is the accomodation.?.Do they have seperate beds so they can get away from each other is they want to.?

Sometimes boars will be happy together for quite a while then start to fight.I once had a bonded pair of boars together for over 18 months, then they started fighting and I had to seperate.

Have a look at Barmy-4-Boars website, there is a lot of info on there about keeping boars together.

Thanks maryh. They live in a 2x4 c&c cage. No they don't have separate beds so this may be worth trying. Will look at Barmy 4 Boars too. Here's hoping I can keep them together!
