boars in run 4?

I have four boys now both housed in pairs, I have one 6ft x 4ft run which I rotate putting the sows and the boars out usually.

I was just wondering if the four boars could go out in the run together as it is so big or would they not get on?

I know that more than 2 don't always get on if housed together all the time but is the run different?

have they ever met before? because you may want to try starting from scratch as regards to them meeting they may fight or they may not bath them at the same time so they smell the same (thouroughly dry them before going outside)

Not yet, but I would introduce them first, gradually building it up to see how they get on, currently the are living very close to each other in indoor cages.

If it can be done then it would save alot of hassle of keep swapping over that way they could have half the day outside and the sows the other half

Personally if you have two happy pairs I wouldn't risk rocking the boat with them. Could you put a divide down the middle so they can still go out at the same time?

Agree with Bailey - I have two sets of boars living next to each other but have two separate 5x3 ft runs for them.
The two girls have their own run...expensive game having to buy three but wouldn't take the slightest risk :...
