I recently posted about buying something to clean my boys grease gland. I got some coconut oil and I’ve just given them a wash. As I was rubbing the oil in, hair and greasy lumps started to come out, is this normal?

Also one of the boys was more than happy to be washed but the other (who’s was a lot worse) hated every second of it and unfortunately He’s lost a lot of hair (in the picture). I’ve never had to wash boars like this before. Will he be ok? Is there any lasting damage? Sorry the picture isn’t very clear, he now has a bald patch. It doesn’t look sore or red. Sorry another question... Is the hair loss just due to the build up of grease etc that has finally been able to come away with the wash?

@Chloe.123 In my experience that area tends to have less hair than others so maybe it was always like that?

I wouldn't worry too much as the hair will grow back :)
