Boars fighting in new cage?

I built a 2 x 4 C&C cage for my two boars since they were chattering and nipping quite a bit in their smaller cage. I thought the larger cage would give them a chance to have their own space, but it seems that the fighting is now more frequent. I sometimes catch them head to head nipping at each other. No blood has been drawn yet, but I fear I will find one of them seriously injured one day. They are 2-3 years old (not sure exactly, that was the range the previous owner gave), and have been living together since babies. The owner said they fought more as babies, but they seem to get along overall. I was wondering if perhaps they are fighting more because it is a new cage and they both want to be the boss of the new space. Is this possible? I considered popping in a divider, but then they both won't have enough space to run around. I even tried putting one in as a trial run and they both chew at the divider nonstop and seem even more unhappy with it in. Is there anything else I can try to calm them down? Maybe giving them both a bath, then putting them together in neutral territory? I'm trying to avoid separate cages if possible, since my space is limited (even more so now with the 2x4 cage). Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks!

Giving them a bath and cleaning the cage (I know it's a new one!) can neutralise smells so can reinstate balance. Do you have two of everything in there? Hidey holes, food bowls, water bottles etc? Do they have lots of floor time? I know my piggies can get a bit narky if they spend too long in their cage...a leg stretch can work wonders!:)

Being in a new environment can upset them & can definitely cause them to disagree as both seem to want to be boss of this new found space. Hopefully one will back down & they will settle & as M & G says make sure you have 2 of everything. :)

I have two of everything: two bowls, water bottles, hidey places, and even built two separate hay lofts. They actually have calmed down a bit. They still wiggle their bums at each other and chase each other around, but no serious biting is going on. I can tell that the larger one, Axel, is the dominant boy. Reno usually backs down to him first.
