if you read my last post you'll know why I'm doing this. So it was either put my two guinea pigs with the new one or get a New Guinea pig to go with the new one. As originally I really wanted 3 guinea pigs together I ended up trying it just to see how it would go.

Pringle and mojo and the new addition jaffa went into a neutral area for 5 hours then I dicided they were getting on well and put them in their cage which I cleaned out before putting them in.

They are getting on well actually, more so than I thought they would. There is some chasing and nibbling but no teeth chattering which I'm happy about. I know this doesn't mean that they will always get on and I am aware that something may happen in a couple days or so but do you think this can work?

They are all eating hay together now which is good because I was afraid mojo would get bossy and not let share. They even sat together!

All the best! The crucial time comes when your youngster hits the big teenage hormones - it really depends on how dominant he is and how laid-back your other boys are.

yeah a bigger cage would definitely help them get a long better, boys can get territorial so they need plenty of space
