Boar pairs

Went in shed this morning to feed and clean out piggies and gave a few some hugs and i put Rolo my crested agouti boar on my grooming table, well you can guess what happened now i turned around for 1 second to shut his hutch door as his mate was trying to climb out and he fell on the floor :o :o :'(

I feel sooo bad - I checked him all over and the first place i examined was his teeth and they are fine just covered in a little blood from a tiny gash on his lip :-\ I put him back and watched him and he was eating and drinking fine 0:)

Well i got his mate out named Titch and hes quite skinny as over the past few weeks i have been watching them very closely and Rolo wont let him eat or drink :-X I even put 2 hideys in there, 2 food bowls, water bowls etc and whenever he went near the nearest food bowl right next to him he launched at him and poor titch couldnt eat or drink

Well ive separated them today to let titch put some weight on and give him some piece and quiet :smitten:

I am such a bad piggy owner after what has happened :'(

They have lived together for ages with other boars too :-\ of all ages and i gave them more space so i separated them down and i have now put titch in a cage and left rolo in his hutch :-\
 
Aww they are gorge! Don't beat yourself up, accidents happen! Just monitor him and if you are concerned take him to a vet. Boys are so naughty, there must be something in the water today! :)
 
;D Thanks ill have to monitor Titches weight and see if he gains much over the next week O0 Thanks oh and trying to check rolos teeth was a pa lava as hes very figity and doesn't like to be cuddled too much ;D

I am sure titch will be fine have you checked his teeth silly question I know but Rimmer and Bumble were chasing Hamish like you describe and you know I took her to the vets Monday. Keep an even closer eye on Titchs teeth ;)
 
OoOoh I'm forever checking piggies teeth but havent checked Titches for a few days actually :P I like checking teeth as i like them to get used to me with whatever i do for their health and the majority of my piggies will let me put my finger in their mouth if i wanted to ;D Will go and check now :) Get back to you after ;)
 
Just checked Titches teeth and they are fine :-\ all straight and clean no chips or anything
I think it was just cause he wasnt getting any food down him or water - Just picked him up then had to get2 more piggies out to cuddle them ::) ;D ;D
