One of my boys, Picchu, is a serial boar gluer (multiple times a week 🙄). He always seems to get it under his chin and now has developed a bald patch I'm guessing from when he rips the glue off taking the fur with it! It's been bald for about 3 weeks as he keeps doing it in the same spot so hasn't had chance to grow back! Is this normal or do I need to do something about the bald patch?

Boars ey, I have a boar whom often gets glue or something stuck to his lip just under, I just leave it on him as he squeals when I try and get it off with warm water, he doesn’t pull it off, it just comes off when it’s ready, I hope you find a way of preventing the fur pulling

I would have thought he'd have learnt if he keeps doing it his lovely fur will never come back! Boars will be boars I guess! I was just worried he'd get infected from scratching!

This happened recently to our boar pepper he had some in his nose then he got it off and had a little bald patch, it’s grown back pretty quickly though! Boars will be Boars 🤣

I'm glad there are other gross boars like Picchu out there🤣🤣 got to love him! My other boy Machu never does it! Which I'm glad about as he's a coronet cross so would be awful trying to get it out of his long fur🙄

Picchu has now glued again and this time his chin looks sore and is bleeding. My fiancé has called the vets as I'm at work and they've said to keep it clean and keep an eye on it. How would you recommend to keep this clean? Any products or just water?

Oh dear.

You can bathe the area with plain water or salt water
