hi everyone, i cant find my other thread but a while ago i had to separate my 3 boys and so now one (onion) is on his own, the other 2 are living outside in a lovely big hutch absolutely fine and happy so re-introducing is a massive no no.

i really need some local boar dating as at the moment onion is inside and needs to be out sooner rather than later! ive spent this time getting another outside hutch and doubling up on everything which was un expected so took some time! so.... i live in high wycombe, is there anywhere close that i could ring and find him a friend? i wont put him outside until he has one as he would be really lonely without anyone around.
many thanks in advance

As guinea pig rescues are run on a volunteer basis, their locations are very hit and miss.

However, I have always found it worth going a bit further if necessary as the results of dating (any gender, any age) speak for themselves!

i honestly will go as far as i can, the closest is almost an hour away and i cant go much further with petrol costing what it is, but i will keep looking, thanks again for the link with the info

I have found that 1 hour travel is a reasonable distance for piggy dating; I have done so several times with my own newly bereaved piggies, depending on which of the rescues within my reach had suitable companions.

Best of luck!

thanks x i haven't heard back yet, I'm sure they are busy tho so will wait another few days, i so badly want to find him a friend, he looks so sad at the moment :(

Rescue people are usually extremely busy; so be patient and try again!
