Boar cleaning backfired

I need some advice - I cleaned both my boys anal sack for the first time today and it seems i’ve set off a massive hormonal wave in one of them - He won’t stop chasing my younger one and trying to hump him and i’ve had to separate them because the little ones not having it and they are fighting, and if i didn’t separate them it would’ve ended in blood and now i don’t know what to do - Do i separate the cage so that they can still see each other for the night?

I think a temporary separation is best. Let them calm down and try to reintroduce them to each other tomorrow.

Ok so do i do the cage separation or do i put them in different cages but next to each other
