Hi I am currently separating two boars as one recently began to bully the other one after a trip while we were on holiday to a friend who had females he could smell.
They are still in their hutch together but are separated by chicken wire so they can still smell and talk but one can't bully and hurt the other.
My question is should I swap them over to each other's end during this time so they live in each other's smell or just keep them in their own end of the hutch for the whole time?
I have also divided their run similarly so was wondering if they should change sides every now and again.
I was going to leave it 3 or 4 days before attempting to give them some time together without the divider. Do you think that is the correct amount of time?
Thank you
Emma
