I have adopted a single boar , intended to try and have a trio with my sows after neutering , does the size of the guinea pig matter, only my sows are young around three months , by the time he can go in with them they will be older , he is six months and huge! He is a Swiss teddy but massive , I am a bit scared of him if I am honest! It's early days but he keeps chattering and yawning at me .
Anyway my question is does the size difference matter as if he started mounting them would be hurt them?

The young age of all piggies should argue for a good success.

Please be aware that you will have to wait 6 weeks post op to be 100%. My Tegan is the unplanned gift from an over 5 weeks post op boar (not one of mine). If your boy can spend the post-op wait next to the girls, they will be comfy with each other's presence, so acceptance should be lively, but pretty much guaranteed.

As to size - this is my 1300g heavy 3 year old widower Carwyn with his 5 week old new wifelet Heini (nearly a quarter of him) on the evening of their bonding; they adore each other!

Aww look at that! yey the size difference is similar to yours , was a bit worried about the Courting issues since neutering doesn't curb behaviour.
Seriously they would disappear under him if he tried any thing!
But as long as they don't hurt each other I think the three together is my best option.
