One of my fosters guinea pigs as of 2 hours ago started peeing blood, at first i saw it and was like oh thats not actually red I'm just seeing things. But then a cpuple of minutes ago the pee became visably red and its not red urine from food I'm pretty sure cause it doesnt look fully mixed in its like traces. I checked and its not an injury as far as i can tell. My vet is closed for the night and the emergency vet is 30 minutes away. Is this condition very urgent (I'm taking her to the vet today dont worry) but should i try going to a regular vet first to see if they can do anything or help? Is this life threatening?

I am sorry to hear this, she should hopefully be okay overnight.
I’ve never personally had a piggy with any urinary issues, but the forums guide on such states this is an issue that can/should be seen in 24 hours.

Best of luck at the vets, I hope it’s nothing too serious x
How Soon Should My Guinea Pig See A Vet? - A Quick Guide

Thank you, update: i was just notified that since they are fosters we can only go to the approved vets and we are not allowed to take the guinea pigs to the vet without permission of the foster care director. And as of now i dont see any more Blood hoping maybe it was kidney stones and passed through but never heard and signs of pain while peeing. And hope i can still take them to the vets cause the director hasn't replied yet.
